A lively New Orleans street scene captures the familiar façade of Café du Monde as a horse drawn carriage crosses the foreground. The deep black mat, narrow burgundy border, and restrained brass tone frame give the colorful work a more collected and architectural presence.
The lower margin is marked Artist’s Proof 15/35 and bears a pencil signature. A historical Café du Monde information sheet remains attached to the reverse and identifies the limited edition print as the work of James L. Kendrick III, a Louisiana artist known for detailed scenes of historic New Orleans and the American South.
